I hope 2020 has gotten off to a peaceful start for everyone! I have a piece up in the Creative Alliance’s Annual Resident Show (The Notable Letter Hh). The show is on view through February 8th. Here’s a pic of one of my paintings that are currently in progress. It serves as another attempt at merging aspects of the representational and abstract veins of my practice. The subject of the piece is my Mom captured during the moments she’s about to go out for a brief night of socializing and dancing. Look for the finished piece to be posted in the body of work titled “The Quandary and related works”.
